Junior Artist

Role Type:

  • Full Time - Fixed term.

  • On Site in Canberra, ACT, Australia.

Responsibilities:

Creation of Art assets:

  • Creation of art assets to technical specifications as provided by senior team members.

  • Adherence to naming, file organization and other conventions as provided.

  • High Poly modelling in 3DS Max, or Zbrush

  • Low Polygon Modelling of in game models

  • Unwrapping and Baking of high poly models to low poly in game mesh and texturing in Substance Painter and Photoshop

  • Creation of optimized LOD Mesh for in game assets

  • Import, Setup, and self / Peer QA of assets in UE4

  • Creation of Materials, Animations, particle systems, blueprints and any other in engine Art assets as required by the games design.

Level construction:

  • Creation of sections of game levels in Unreal Engine 4

Working with the team and by yourself:

  • Collaboration and communication with other artists on implementation of Art Direction

  • Accurate estimation and task breakdowns

Experience:

Environment Artist needs to have experience in:

  • Creation of high quality environment art using 3D Studio Max, Unreal Engine 4, Photoshop, Zbrush etc


Environment Artist

Role Type:

  • Full Time - Fixed term / Contract.

VFX Artist / Technical Artist / 3D Generalist

Role Type:

  • Full Time - Fixed term.

Responsibilities:

Creation of VFX in Unreal Engine 4:

  • Materials, Vertex and Shader Animations,

  • Particle systems, in Cascade and Niagara,

  • Scripted Blueprint sequences,

  • and any other in engine Art assets as required by the games design.

Creation of Art assets:

  • Creation of art assets to technical specifications and provided by senior team members.

  • Adherence to naming, file organization and other conventions as provided.

  • High Poly modelling in 3DS Max

  • Low Polygon Modelling of in game models

  • Baking of high poly models to low poly in game mesh and texturing in Substance Painter and Photoshop

  • Creation of optimized LOD Mesh for in game assets

  • Import, Setup, and self / Peer QA of assets in UE4

Working with the team and by yourself:

  • Collaboration and communication with other artists on implementation of Art Direction

VFX / Technical Artist needs to have prior experience working in a professional game development team.
